Board of Trustees - Elections
The King’s High School Board Elections take place in September 2022 and nominations are open.
Nominations are open for the election of 5 parent representatives to the school board.
All eligible voters have been sent a nomination cover letter calling for nominations and a nomination form via e-mail or post. Use this form to nominate yourself or someone in your community. Information on who is not eligible to be a board member was also included. Please read this carefully.
If you need more nomination forms, contact the school office.
Nominations close at noon on Wednesday, 17 August 2022. All forms must be completed, signed and returned by this time and date (no exceptions). A Candidate Statement (400 words) and photo can accompany the nomination form. The Returning Officer may remove or edit any part of the Candidates Statement if it exceeds 400 words or is offensive or defamatory. Nomination forms and candidate statements can be hand delivered, posted or emailed to cursey@kingshigh.school.nz
The electoral roll is held at the school and can be viewed during normal school hours.
As nominations are received, there will be a list of candidates’ names kept at the school up until election day, which you can view.
Also of note, if a voting election is required the information will be sent through the post. If your postal address needs updated or you are aware we do not have a postal address on our system for you, please contact the main office.
Voting closes at 4pm on Wednesday, 21 September 2022.
Cursey Adie-Cropley, Returning Officer
