Physical Education and Health Teacher - Full time, Fixed Term 2025

We are looking for a qualified and capable Physical Education and Health teacher to join our successful PE department.  Applicants should be dedicated to ensuring student achievement and personal excellence.  A commitment to the school’s strong co-curricular programme would be an advantage.  The position commences in Term 1, 2025.

Japanese Teacher - Part time, Fixed Term 2025

We seek a committed and engaging teacher of Japanese to join our motivated and effective staff.  The successful applicant should be suitably qualified and familiar with ICT best use in curriculum delivery.   An eagerness to enable young men to achieve King’s Personal Excellence and to maintain our high standards and expectations, along with a strong work ethic and good understanding of educational and language-related initiatives, are all essential.  A commitment to the school’s co-curricular programme is expected too.  Please state supporting subjects.  This position commences in Term 1, 2025.

We seek an outstanding teacher of mathematics to join our high-performing school. The successful applicant will be able to teach to NCEA Level 3 Calculus or Statistics and Modelling, and potentially to Scholarship level.  Applicants should be suitably qualified and passionate about boys’ education.  They should also be committed to maintaining our high standards and expectations and values-based education, and the achievement of personal excellence by our young men.  Commitment to the school’s strong co-curricular programme is sought too.

 Teacher Assistant - Fulltime, Term Time Only

King's High School is seeking a dynamic and committed person to join our team of Teacher Assistants. This role is for someone who is passionate, caring, and eager to support our young men with their learning challenges.

The position is for the 2025 school year, 25 hours per week, term time only and starting in January 2025.

The successful applicant will be an excellent practitioner, collegial, and committed to the students.  Experience is not a requirement but could be advantageous.
