Lawn Bowls

Lawn Bowls has been played at King's since 2006. It attracts a steady number of boys, usually about 10. Played both pre and post Christmas.

Competitions

The students compete against other Dunedin Secondary Schools. The competition is held on Monday afternoon, at the Anderson's Bay Bowling Club (post Christmas) and at the Dunedin Bowls Stadium (pre Christmas).

History

While Lawn Bowls is a relatively new addition to the sports we offer, Bradley Torrance has been selected in the Dunedin Centre's Secondary Schools' Bowls Team as a singles player and appears to have a bright future in the game.
