King's & Queen's combined Jazz Band, the "Queen Bee and the Swing King's" were awarded the runner up in the category of Big Band at the Dunedin Youth Jazz Festival held in late July.

Year 11 student Nikhil Rawat was also awarded Best Baritone Saxophonist.
